How’s the market doing? If you asked me that question I would say, “Here on the Peninsula, sales are going up, there have been some price adjustments, but people have been buying!” For example, in the past 30 days, in San Mateo County, there were 120 single family, condo and townhouse sales. From the $334,000 1-bedroom condo in San Mateo to the $20 million, 6 bedroom, 6 bath single family home in Atherton. The List to Sell Price percentage was 103%, in other words, the homes were selling for slightly above list price. There were some listings that had a price reduction and that affects List to Sell percentage, of course. The sold map shows where the sales occurred. I will continue to watch the market for buyer and seller trends.
